How do I know if therapy is right for me? That’s a really good question! If you’ve been wondering whether therapy is right for you, that alone can be a sign it might help. Therapy can help if you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or are going through a challenging time. That being said, therapy isn’t just for when things are “really bad”—it can be a space to explore your thoughts, find clarity, grow personally, increase your sense of self, work through stress, or navigate life changes.

What if I’ve never done therapy before? That’s completely okay—many people start therapy without knowing what to expect. Your therapist will guide you through the process at a pace that feels comfortable for you. There is no right or wrong way to begin! You don’t need to have it all figured out—just come as you are.

How long will I be in therapy? The length of therapy really varies depending on your goals, the issues you're working through, and how frequently we meet. Some people benefit from frequent short-term therapy over a few months to focus on a specific concern, while others find longer-term therapy helpful for deeper self-exploration and ongoing support. We'll regularly check in on your progress and make adjustments based on what feels most helpful for you. You're never locked into a certain number of sessions—it's a collaborative process guided by your needs.

How much does therapy cost? Therapy costs will very, depending on if you plan to use your insurance plan. Our self pay rates are $150 for individual 55 minute sessions and $200 for your initial intake.

Do you accept insurance? Yes! We do. Lauren Evanoff accepts most Anthem BCBS health plans, UHC plans, and Community Health Direct plans. Cameron Halberstadt currently accepts UHC plans. We would be happy to answer any further questions, please reach out!

Do you offer free consultations? Yes! We do. Please see our Contact tab for instructions of how to request a free virtual consultation.

Do you provide recommendations in court regarding visitation & custody? No, we do not. Neither Cameron or Lauren make recommendations as to parenting time, custody, or visitation arrangements as this is out of the scope of their practice and training.
